What are the Benefits of the Rohrer® Spectrum Laser?

The Rohrer® Spectrum laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) system can resurface the face, neck, chest, or hands. The Spectrum® device can achieve many different goals, including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, vascular reduction, and laser skin resurfacing. As a multi-modal platform, the Spectrum® laser can:

  • Provide permanent hair reduction
  • Remove spider veins, damaged blood vessels, and other vascular lesions
  • Reduce acne scarring
  • Reduce freckles, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and age spots
  • Remove unwanted tattoos

Ultimately, the Spectrum® laser and IPL system can smooth and brighten skin on the treated area(s) without surgery or major downtime. Is Facial Rejuvenation with the Spectrum® Laser Right for Me?

The Spectrum® laser and IPL system is gentle and non-ablative, allowing a broad range of patients to safely undergo treatment. Our team will discuss your goals with you and review your medical history to determine the best non-surgical cosmetic enhancement treatment for your needs. Our team also offers minimally invasive skin tightening and cellulite reduction services at our practice to further smooth and refine your skin tone. For patients who are taking certain acne medications, pregnant, have very tan skin, or are affected by one or more dermatologic conditions, the Spectrum® laser may not be the best treatment.

How is Treatment with the Rohrer® Spectrum Laser Performed?

The Spectrum® laser involves an in-office treatment performed at our Wichita practice. During treatment, the Spectrum® device is calibrated to your specific concerns and skin type. Most patients do not report pain, although local anesthesia can be applied prior to your appointment to improve comfort if desired. Depending on the severity of your concerns, treatment usually takes 30 minutes to one hour. It may take multiple treatment sessions over the course of several months to fully achieve your goals and obtain the highest quality of results.
